4. How to Use
It is recommended to view the effects after AI has been continuously enabled for 2-3 weeks.
4.1 AI Dashboard
4.1.1 Ads Performance Summary
In this panel, you can compare the spend, sales, and ACOS performance of ad campaigns using AI versus those not using AI, as well as their respective month-over-month changes.
Terminology definitions:
Interface Terms | Definition |
AI Copilot | Ad campaigns that use AI functions (AI managed groups, Smart creation, Strategy & Recommendation) during the filter period. |
Regular Ad Campaigns | Ad campaigns that have never activated AI (Smart Optimization, Smart Creation/Management Group, Strategy & Recommendation) during the filter period. |
AI Activation Rate |
= Number of AI Copilot ad campaigns during the filter period / Total number of campaigns with data during the filter period |
Core data:
Spend, spend percentage, spend month-over-month change, sales, sales percentage, sales month-over-month change, ACOS, and ACOS month-over-month change for AI Copilot ad campaigns and regular ad campaigns.
AI Copilot only counts data during the AI activation period. If an ad campaign has AI enabled for 5 days and disabled for 5 days within your selected 10 days, only the data for those 5 enabled days is counted.
In addition to comparing the performance of AI Copilot and regular ads over a certain period, it is also necessary to consider their own month-over-month changes.
4.1.2 AI Actions
This panel breaks down AI optimization actions and presents the core results to help you further deconstruct AI optimization adjustments.
AI Action Overview
AI Actions | Main Principle | Result Metrics | Result Metrics Description |
Budget Dayparting | For ad campaigns with sufficient data and out of budget serving status, based on AMS hourly data, the ad spend are controlled within time slots with higher conversion rates through budget dayparting (setting budgets by time periods). | Budget Coverage Rate During High Conversion Window |
Calculated by ad campaign, the time slots in a 24-hour day where the ad campaign conversion rate is higher than the all-day average conversion rate are called high conversion intervals. This metric counts the percentage of time slots in high conversion periods where over-budget situations did not occur. |
Bid Dayparting | Using targeting level AMS hourly data analysis, adjust bids up or down during different time slots based on performance differences. | CVR During High Conversion Window |
Calculated by target, the time slots in a 24-hour day where the target conversion rate is higher than the all-day average conversion rate are called high conversion intervals. This metric calculates the average conversion rate of each target in high conversion intervals. |
Keyword/ASIN Harvesting | If AI identifies potential keywords or ASINs that have not yet been added to the campaign and are found in the search term report, consider adding them if budget allows. | Revenue Secured in the Past 30 Days | The sales generated by keywords/products harvested by Xnurta AI in the selected time period, calculated separately for each harvested keyword/ASIN and summed up. |
Keyword/ASIN Negation | Negate non-converting search terms or search terms with significant ACoS gaps from the target ACoS from the previous period, including negative exact match and phrase match keywords, as well as negative ASINs | Saved Spend | The spend generated by keywords/ASINs negated by Xnurta AI in the 30 days prior to the AI negation action, calculated separately for each negated keyword/ASIN and summed up. |
Rapid Testing | Use a low base bid for new targeting and implement slight bid increments to minimize costs while acquiring clicks efficiently. | Time to First Click | Calculates the average time taken for targets obtained through quick testing to get the first click. |
Budget Optimization |
Includes budget dayparting, budget increases, and budget reallocation among ad campaigns within a managed group. Budget Increase: Increases campaign daily budget with the conditions of campaign is performing well and projected daily budget is insufficient. Budget Reallocation: If campaigns in a managed group showing significant performance differences and some campaigns are out of budget, AI will reduce the budget for campaigns with poor performance, while increasing the budget for campaigns with high performance. |
Number of Ad Campaigns with Budget Optimization
Bid Optimization | Includes dayparting bid, base bid adjustment, and placement percentage adjustment. | Number of Ad Campaigns with Budget Optimization
Structure Optimization | Pauses underperforming promoted products, ad groups and campaigns. | Number of Ad Campaigns with Budget Optimization |
Among them, the first 5 optimization actions provide further details for you to view.
Worth noting:
The AI Actions panel only counts optimization actions for SP ad campaigns, not SB and SD ad campaigns.
Optimization actions pushed through Strategy & Recommendation are not counted in this panel.
Due to the large amount of target-level bid dayparting data, historical data is not retroactively counted, only targets and data for which dayparting bids were made after April 8, 2024 are counted.
AI Action Detailed Analysis
Firstly, each detailed analysis page provides filtering conditions by store, promoted product, porfolio, management group name, and specific object, supporting both aggregate data viewing and drilling down to specific analysis objects.
Secondly, each AI action has associated data metrics and charts for viewing relevant data indicators, with specific explanations detailed on the page.
Finally, for each optimized object, there is also a detailed list to display ad performance data.
4.1.3 Time Saving
We considered data acquisition and organization, data analysis, ad adjustment, and evaluated the time AI saves you in optimizing ad campaigns.

4.2 Campaigns Dashboard
The Campaigns Dashboard provides ad performance data at the management group/ad campaign level for sellers to view. Every 2-3 weeks, you can track the AI objective achievement of each management group, compare the gap between target ACOS and actual ACOS, and reasonably adjust targets.
Due to differences in function, the definition of AI running status in the Campaigns Dashboard is slightly different from the AI Dashboard. Please pay attention to the definition explanations and correctly understand the data.
4.2.1 Filtering Conditions
- Select store and time peroid.
- Select ad type, AI status, object type, and ad campaign status.
- Select AI activation time and deactivation time period. Since the AI activation time varies for each management group or ad campaign. This feature could streamline the process of analyzing campaigns that have implemented AI within a certain timeframe, facilitating data comparison and decision-making.
Terminology definitions:
AI Status | Definition |
AI currently Running | Management groups or ad campaigns that currently have AI (AI Optimization, Smart Creation/Management Group) enabled, regardless of your selected time period. |
AI never turned on | Management groups or ad campaigns that have never activated AI (AI Optimization, Smart Creation/Management Group). |
AI turned off |
Management groups or ad campaigns that have previously activated AI but currently have AI (AI Optimization, Smart Creation/Management Group) disabled, regardless of your selected time period. If an ad campaign with AI enabled has been paused, the AI status will automatically change to AI turned off. |
4.2.2 Metric Summary and Trend Analysis
The page will aggregate the data metrics of ad campaigns that meet your filter conditions and provide daily/weekly/monthly trend analysis.
4.2.3 Managed Group/Ad Campaign List
The list will display the objective and actual data performance of each ad campaign or management group, and calculate the ACOS difference. You can reasonably adjust targets by comparing the gap between the two. If the actual ACOS is far from your ideal ACOS, you can set the target ACOS to be more lenient at first, observe the data every 2-3 weeks, and set it in a stepwise manner to ultimately reach the ideal target.
Item types are divided into "Management Group" and "Campaigns not in Management Group", corresponding to using Xnurta AI in the form of management groups and single campaign AI optimization objective templates respectively. It is recommended to view only one type at a time for ease of performance evaluation and target adjustment.
