How to authorize Amazon store

1. Introduction

2. Preparation before authorization

Before authorizing an Amazon store to Xnurta, you need to meet the following two requirements:

  1. Your Amazon account has already posted an ad; if not, please create an ad on Amazon and activate it first.
  1. Your Amazon account has permission to manage advertising campaigns; if not, please authorize the Amazon account owner to view and edit your Amazon account operations according to the following link

3. Authorization steps

How to authorize?

Xnurta authorization is divided into two parts:

  • Advertising API authorization refers to granting Xnurta the store advertising data interface permission in accordance with Amazon's official requirements.
  • SP-API authorization refers to granting Xnurta the store's order, sales, and other data interfaces in accordance with Amazon's official requirements.

The above authorization is to provide you with comprehensive advertising management and data analysis functions.

Authorization of advertising API, advertising data will be synchronized up to 95 days before the authorization date SP, while SB and SD data will be synchronized up to 60 days before the authorization date The authorization of sp-api will synchronize sales data up to 90 days before the authorization date.

 

3.1 Advertising API Authorization

Please login to Xnurta (https://ai.xnurta.com/login) and your Amazon account (Vendor or Seller Central). After successful authorization, you can use the Xnurta system in any browser;

1. After you log in, please click the "Authorization" button, and then you will be redirected to the authorization management page.

2. Click [ Add Amazon Store], fill in the store name, and select the region

  • You can only add a store in one region at a time.
  • If you want to change the site of the store, you can edit and modify the store on the authorization page

3. After clicking Continue, you will be redirected to the authorization page. Please click [Authorize]; or copy the authorization link from the pop-up window. It should be opened and authorized in the same browser in which you are logged into your Xnurta account (do not authorize in multiple browsers).

4. After opening the Amazon authorization link, you will be redirected to the Amazon login page. You need to log in with your store account and password. If you have already logged in, the authorization operation will be performed directly. Click "Allow" to complete the authorization.

5. Click Allow to authorize Xnurta. A pop-up window will appear selecting all Amazon stores in the selected region under the logged-in Amazon account. The store list on this page is all the stores in the selected region under the currently logged-in Amazon account. Please check the stores that need to be authorized. After clicking Confirm Authorization, Xnurta will access the data of these stores. Xnurta defaults to pulling all the open sites of each store for you. If you need to cancel, please click Edit Authorization List to cancel after the authorization is completed.

6. After completing the ad authorization, it will prompt that the ad authorization is successful. Click "Authorization" to continue with SP-API authorization.

7. After clicking Authorization, you will be returned to the list of filtered completed ad authorizations but not completed SP-API authorizations. You can click the SP-API edit icon to continue completing SP-API authorization.

 

3.2 SP-API authorization

1. After the advertising API authorization has successfully completed, click the editing icon of the corresponding store's SP-API to enter the SP-API authorization list pop-up window. Click "Authorization" to enter the Amazon seller platform login page. After successful login, go to the SP-API authorization page. After confirming that the current account is correct, click the "Allow" button to agree to the authorization. If it does not go back to the advertising authorization success page successfully, you can click "Authorization" in the authorization management page list to complete the SP-API authorization.

2. After the SP-API authorization is successful, the authorization list page will be returned, and the pop-up window will show that the authorization is successful. The SP-API data will be synchronized immediately.

Asia: Japan, Australia, Singapore

Europe: United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, India, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Saudi Arabia

 

4. FAQs

  What are the failure scenarios for advertising authorization?  

Due to the failure of Token-related issues, you can try again in this scenario.

Due to the failure of Profile-related issues, that is, there may be no Profile available under the logged-in Amazon account. In this case, you can confirm whether the logged-in Amazon account is correct by yourself.

Authorization failed when the store was detected to have unpaid bills in the Xnurta database during self-registration authorization ( international version only ).

 

  What are the failure scenarios of SP-API?  

Token and store's entityId do not match, that is, the authorized store and the logged-in Amazon account do not match.

 

 Why does the national flag of a store's marketplace on Xnurta turn gray on the authorization management page? How should it be restored?

The EntityID returned by the Amazon API is incomplete, which causes Xnurta to fail to synchronize store data. For this situation, it is recommended to follow the operation steps below:


① If the national flags of all marketplaces of a store turn gray, the store needs to be re-authorized. The operation steps are as follows:

Step 1: Click the blue 【+ Connect Amazon Store】 button to create a new store authorization.


Step 2: After the new store authorization is successfully completed, delete the original store authorization record with the gray national flag.


② If only some of the national flags of the store's marketplaces turn gray, please contact your Customer Success Manager for assistance. After the processing is done, click the small key on the interface to re-authorize Ads-API and SP-API.

 

What impact does re-authorization have on AI and automation rules, both before and after the process?

Before re-authorization, the configurations and switch states of automation rules and AI remain intact. However, during the period when authorization is invalid, these two types of operations will fail due to the lack of valid authorization.

After re-authorization, there is no need to enable or reconfigure the automation rules and AI; they will operate and adjust in accordance with their original configurations.

 

How to add new marketplaces for an Amazon store that has already been authorized to Xnurta?

① Check the Amazon store for which you want to authorize more marketplaces;

② Click "Update Amazon Store";

③ Click the small pencil icon to select more marketplace.
