1. Feature Introduction

You can set your system  preferences here, including default display of ACOS or ROAS on the page, and the system's week start from Monday or Sunday

 

2. Use Case

a. When the default display of ACOS or ROAS data on the page does not match your viewing habits, you can switch the metrics preference
b. When the start day of a week for system charts, tables, and downloaded files does not match your viewing data habits, you can switch it between Sunday and Monday.

 

3. Condition of Use

Any main account or sub account can use this function, and modifications only take effect in the current account.

 

4. How to use

a. Enter settings:

Click on the Preference settings in the upper right corner to open the settings box, where you can switch between ACOS or ROAS for metric preferences, and switch between Sunday or Monday for the start of the week.

 

b. Scope

1. Preference of ACOS or ROAS: All display positions of the metric and related calculation on the Executive dashboard; Default display of the metric in the Advertising management, AI copilot and etc.

2. Week start from Sunday or Monday:

Effective position	Illustration
Display of all time selectors in the system
Display of weekly dimension data for charts
Weekly dimension charts and tables of data details
In the export file when downloading data on a weekly basis

Calculation method for annual week:
According to the International Organization for Standardization's international standard ISO 8601, the representation of date and time

The first week of each year is the week on January 4th or the first week of the year with at least 4 days in the same week.

When setting the start date of the week as Sunday, the calculation method is still followed, so depending on the start date of the week, some dates may be in different annual weeks.

 

5.  FAQ

Which modules of the system are not affected by preference settings?

In the current system preference settings, the switch between ACOS and ROAS is only applicable to Amazon related functions;

AMC module, SOV insight, and ABA report for keywords is not affected by the start date of the week, as the inherent generation cycle of data is not related to display preferences;

The Scheduled Reports is not affected by the system's preference setting. When configuring reports, the start date of the week can be set separately.
