AI managed group settings have been completely upgraded
As the complexity of cross-border e-commerce advertising scenarios increases, sellers face pain points such as repeated configuration of multiple managed groups, cumbersome switching between promotional / daily strategies, and differentiated user requests based on different levels of operational proficiency. This update to the Xnurta AI managed group settings builds a whole-link solution of "strategy precipitation - fine-tuning - intelligent switching" through three core modules: templated reuse, hierarchical operation space, and time-driven strategies. It aims to use a human-machine collaborative model to both lower the operational threshold for casual users and meet the refined configuration requests of hardcore users, ultimately achieving a dual improvement in advertising management efficiency and targeting accuracy, and adapting to major promotional scenarios such as Amazon Black Friday and daily periodic operational needs. The specific update content is as follows
- Supports template settings for managed groups, which can significantly reduce the time for repeated configuration and enable more efficient management of multiple AI managed groups
- Supports adding and setting schedules, easily enabling the automated switching of the "regular + special time period" strategy
- Add more action space to further enhance collaboration between customers and AI
- The Action Space Interaction has been upgraded, with a new Advanced Settings Mode added to meet the refined user requests for ad optimization from different users
AI managed group setup template
1. Functional background and purpose
By leveraging the template feature, the time spent on repetitive configuration can be significantly reduced, enabling more efficient management of multiple AI managed groups.
To simplify the setup process of AI managed groups and prevent you from repeatedly configuring the same parameters when creating or modifying multiple managed groups, this update introduces the managed group settings template feature. You can save commonly used managed group settings (including basic settings, AI personality, and AI action space) as templates, and then directly reuse them when creating/modifying managed groups in the future to quickly complete the configuration.
2. Operation guide
(1) Save the current managed group settings as a template
After completing the configuration on the "Edit Managed Group" page, you can save the settings as a template. The steps are as follows:
Enter the "Edit managed group" page and complete the required settings (such as optimization goals, target ACOS, AI personality, action space configuration, etc. in "Basic Settings").
Click the "Save as template" button on the page, and the "Save as template" window will pop up
Fill in the template name (required, up to 200 characters), and optionally fill in remarks (to record the template's purpose/characteristics).
Click "Confirm", and the current managed group settings will be saved as a template.

(2) Select and apply existing templates
When creating/modifying a managed group, you can quickly reuse settings through templates. The steps are as follows:
Enter the "Edit managed group" page, and find the "Reference template settings" module in the "Managed settings" area.
Click the drop-down box of "Reference template settings" and select the target template (the drop-down box displays the template name, creator, time, etc., for easy identification).
Click "Apply", and the template configuration will be automatically populated into the current managed group.
can be modified on the basis of the template to meet personalized needs.

(3) Manage existing templates (view, modify, copy, delete)
On the template management page, the following operations can be performed on templates:
View/Modify template: Locate the target template, click "Details" to view the specific configuration, and re-save after making modifications.
Delete template: Locate the target template, click "Details" and confirm, and the template will be removed (applied managed groups will not be affected).
Copy template: Click "Copy" to create a copy, which can be modified based on the copy and saved as a new template.

3. Precautions
Template save scope: includes basic settings (optimization objectives, target ACOS, etc.), AI personality, and AI action space, but does not include information such as managed group name, campaign association, and managed group budget.
The "Total budget for enabled campaigns" setting has been moved to above the campaign list, with no change in functionality. You can still enter a new budget value to batch change the budgets of enabled campaigns within the managed group.

New version action space settings
1. Functional background and purpose
To meet the refined needs of different users for advertising optimization, this update expands the types of action space, adds new features such as "bid dayparting" and "bid adjustment based on performance", details can be found in the "Action Space Description", and also provides two interfaces, "Overview Mode" and "Edit Mode", allowing you to manage advertising optimization strategies more flexibly and efficiently, taking into account both operational efficiency and refined needs.
"Overview Mode": Designed for casual users, it allows quick viewing of core information (such as action space switches, optimization methods) and completion of simple operations.
"Edit Mode": Designed for hardcore users, it supports detailed configuration of each action space (optimization methods, advanced settings, etc.) and also allows batch operations.
2. Addressing issues and pain points
The action space settings can be independently controlled by operations, enhancing the freedom of AI action space settings
Prevent the situation where AI hosting is shut down due to a certain action space optimization strategy not meeting expectations, reduce concerns about enabling AI, and help sellers make good use of AI
3. Typical scenarios
Only wants AI to participate in ad optimization to a limited extent, while other optimizations are carried out through rules set by manual operation
Compensate for strategic considerations in the advertising optimization process, other than advertising effectiveness (data metrics), such as:
For some categories, due to traffic conditions, there are significant differences in total budget and budget allocation methods between working days and weekends, with the budget needing to be significantly reduced on weekends;
For targeted and negatively targeted harvesting, it is hoped that branded and non-branded keywords can be added to different ad groups respectively
4. Explanation of Action Space
| Action Space Type | Action Space | Action Space Responsibilities | Supported Ad Types | Optimization method |
| Structural Optimization | Pause underperforming products (new) | Pause underperforming products | SP | AI |

5. Operation guide
Overview mode
The interface intuitively displays key information for all action spaces:
Action Space Name
Action Space Switch Status
Current optimization method of the action space ("AI" or "automation rules")
Switch state change: Find the target action space, click the "Switch" button, and you can toggle the "On/Off" state

Edit Mode
(1) Enter edit mode
On the action space settings page, click "Switch to edit mode" to enter the interface that supports fine-grained configuration.
In overview mode, select a specific action space, click "Edit", and directly enter edit mode

(2) Single action space configuration
For each action space, the following settings can be made:
1. Select optimization method (Visible to authorized customers)
AI: Automatically judged and optimized by Xnurta AI.
Automation Rules: Specific rules need to be manually configured, or existing templates of automation rules can be referenced
2. Understand the relationship between AI and rule settings
The rule settings in the AI action space follow the automation rules in the style of the settings interface, and the strategy execution is consistent with the automation rules
Customers can set up brand new rules or quickly reference the rule templates that have already been created within the automated rules module, and make settings and modifications based on them. However, the rule settings saved this time will only affect the settings of the action space and will not have a reverse impact on the settings within the automated rule templates.

6. Precautions
Some advanced settings are "optional configurations". If you are not familiar with the ad optimization logic, you can prioritize using the "AI" optimization method, and then decide whether to configure them based on the actual implementation results.
Batch operations will overwrite the original settings of the selected action space. Please double-check the settings before submission.
AI Managed group scheduling (visible to authorized customers)
1. Functional background and purpose
To meet the requirement of "differentiated managed group setting strategies for different time periods" (such as Amazon's Black Friday promotion, special delivery logic required on Saturdays/Sundays), this update supports scheduling for managed group strategies: special schedules can be set for "specified date ranges" or "by day of the week frequency", with automatic switching to the schedule at the appointed time (only 1 schedule is effective at the same time), eliminating the need for manual adjustment and enhancing the flexibility of delivery and the strategy adaptability during promotions/special periods.
2. Addressing issues and pain points
During the product promotion period, avoid manually changing the managed group settings, and the store will automatically switch strategies at 0:00.
3. Operation guide
Scheduling for adding policies to single trustee group
On the "Edit managed group" page, you can add a specified schedule. The steps are as follows:
(1) Enter the scheduling settings
At the top of the basic settings of the managed group, click "+ Add schedule" to pop up the schedule settings options.

(2) Select the scheduling type
Supports two scheduling methods, choose as needed:
1. Set by Time Range:
Select "Set by Time Range", fill in the "Start Time" and "End Time", such as "2025-11-28 00:00:00" (start of Black Friday) to "2025-11-30 23:59:59" (end of Black Friday). For scheduling set based on a time range, it is recommended to choose a period of 3 days or more.
2. Set by Weekday:
Select "Set by Weekday", check the target weekdays (e.g., "Saturday", "Sunday"), and after setting, the corresponding dates will automatically take effect each week.

(3) Configure the scheduling strategy
Set special strategies for this scheduling, covering the following content:
Basic Settings: Adjust optimization objectives and target ACOS (e.g., lower the ACOS target during major promotions to prioritize order volume).
AI Personality: Modify the AI's "conservative/aggressive" tendency (e.g., set it to 5 during major promotions for more aggressive volume acquisition).
AI Action Space Settings: Adjust the optimization logic of each action space
Xnurta does not recommend frequent switching of the basic settings and AI personality in the managed group settings, as it will have a significant impact on the AI effect. Attention should be paid to the scheduling set with the "by week" frequency. It does not support individual modification of the basic settings and AI personality. Once a change occurs, it will simultaneously affect the default strategy for all time periods
(4) Save the schedule
After configuration is completed, click "Confirm", and the schedule will be added to the schedule list of the managed group, with the "In Effect" label displayed when it takes effect.
(5) Scheduling display in the managed group list
If there is currently a schedule in the "active" status, the corresponding managed objectives, AI persona, AI action space, and target ACOS-related settings can be referenced in the relevant columns starting with "active schedule" on the managed group list page.

Making changes to the managed objectives, AI persona, AI action space, and target ACOS-related settings for "All time" will only affect the settings for "All time" within the managed group and will not simultaneously alter the relevant settings of the active schedule.

Batch add strategy scheduling
If you need to set the same schedule for multiple managed groups simultaneously, you can achieve this through "batch operations". The steps are as follows:
On the managed group list page, check multiple managed groups that need to be set in batch.
Click "Batch operations" → "Add scheduling" to enter the batch scheduling settings interface.
Select the scheduling type (by time range / by weekday), and configure the corresponding "Basic Settings, AI Personality, Action Space" strategies.
Click "Confirm", and the selected hosting group will simultaneously add this schedule.

Scheduling management and automatic switching
(1) Scheduling status and switching logic
At the same time, only one policy in the managed group is effective: the default base policy for "All Time" is displayed; when the time range of the "Specified Schedule" is triggered, it automatically switches to the special policy for that schedule; after the schedule ends, it automatically switches back to the base policy for "All Time".
If multiple conflicting schedules are set, the system will take effect according to the logic of "more precise time range, earlier creation time" first.
For example, if Schedule A is from 2025-11-01 to 2025-11-30, and Schedule B is on Saturdays/Sundays, then the schedule set by time range has a higher priority. That is, on 2025-11-01, Schedule A will be in effect, and the in-effect schedule will display the "In Effect" label.
(2) Schedule editing and deletion
Edit Schedule: In the schedule list, click the "Edit" icon of the target schedule (or the edit entry that appears when hovering) to modify the schedule time and strategy content.
Delete a schedule: Hover the mouse over the schedule tab, a "Delete" button will appear, click it to remove the schedule (deleting an active schedule will automatically switch back to "All Time" after submitting the settings).
