2. Use Cases

Create a Dashboard Using the Default Template to Meet Basic and Common Analysis Needs.
1. Go to the dashboard list, click on [Dashboard Template], select a built-in dashboard template from the system, and then click save. This will allow you to quickly create a dashboard based on the template.
The Management Team Has Strict SOPs and Analysis Standards.
1. The main account creates a unified analysis standard dashboard, which can be directly viewed and analyzed by all sub-accounts.
2. Permissions for creating and editing dashboards and cards can be selectively granted or revoked for sub-accounts as needed.

You want to allow your team members to create their own dashboards:

1. Charts can be created by different sub-accounts based on their own analysis needs and shared within the admin account and all sub-accounts.
2. You can learn from other people's analysis methods, edit their chart to adapt to your own needs, and click the [Save as my chart] button to use it.

4. How to Use

4.1 Glossary

4.1.1 Dashboard

A dashboard is a collection of chart cards. You can filter and view data using the public filtering options at the top of the dashboard or the independent filtering options for each chart. All sub-accounts under the main account can share viewing permissions for dashboards.
Within a dashboard, you can directly add charts created by other sub-accounts under the same main account to your own dashboard. Additionally, you can copy these charts, edit them, and save them as your own.
The time range for data queries in the dashboard depends on the dimensions of each chart. The maximum selectable range is 366 days, but some detailed dimensions only support data queries within 31 days.

4.1.2 Filters of dashboard

The filters that affect data in the dashboard include the time filter in the top-right corner of the page, the public filters at the top of the dashboard, and the independent filters for each chart.
Public filters can only be associated with chart data if the chart is configured with the same filtering conditions as the public filter.
Public filters can either apply by default to all charts that support the filter or be freely configured to apply to specific charts.
Independent chart filters only affect their respective charts.
Charts that support independent time filters are not controlled by the time filter in the top-right corner of the page.

4.1.3 Chart

Each chart card represents an independent set of data, presented in different chart styles. The settings for a card include its name, description, size, dimensions, display metrics, and filters.
All sub-accounts under the same main account can share and configure cards into their own dashboards. However, only the creator of a card can edit it. If others edit a card, it will be considered a copy and saved as a new card.

4.1.4 Chart Type

Table - Dimension * Metrics table: Each column has a metric, and each row is a value of the dimension (for example, if the configuration dimension is Campaign Type, the table will display three rows, SP, SB, SD; if the configuration dimension is Store, then one store per row.)
Table - Time * Metrics Table: Each column has a metric, each row has a time dimension, and you can configure day/week/month in the time dimension.
Single metric chart: Select a single metric and display the total value of the metric in the time period or the average of the proportion metric.
Time Trend Line Chart - Dimensions: The horizontal axis represents time dimension, the vertical axis represents a single metric, and each line represents a value of the dimension (for example, if you configure the dimension as Campaign Type, the chart will display three lines, SP, SB, SD; if you configure the dimension as Store, each curve represents a store).
Time Trend Line Chart - Multiple Metrics: The horizontal axis represents time dimension, and the vertical axis represents multiple metrics(up to 3 metrics). Each line represents a metric, and different metrics will use different vertical coordinates.

4.1.5 Dimensions:

For a specific chart, the data consists of basic dimensions and aggregated dimens by which data is grouped.

Basic dimensions include ad campaigns, product ads, keywords, search term etc. These can be summarized into aggregated dimensions based on certain attributes, such as campaign, campaign type, and targeting match type.

When configuring dimensions for a chart, you need to select both the basic dimension and the aggregated dimension (some chart types do not require selecting an aggregated dimension).

For Dimension-Metric tables, both the basic dimension and group by need to be selected.	For Single Metric Cards, only the basic dimension needs to be selected.

4.2 Dashboard List

4.2.1 Display of the Dashboard List

Upon entering the Custom Dashboard menu, you can view the dashboard list. The list displays dashboards created by your company's main account as well as all sub-accounts. All sub-accounts can view these dashboards, but only the creator and the main account can edit or delete them.

The dashboard list allows for easy identification of internal chart styles through thumbnails. You can filter and search for dashboards by name or creator.

4.2.2 Dashboard List Operations

Hovering your mouse over a dashboard will display the operation buttons.

Add to Common/Move Out: Click the button to add the dashboard to Common. After refreshing the page, the dashboard will be displayed at the top of the page, with a "Common" label shown in the top-left corner. Once the dashboard is removed from common dashboards, it will no longer be pinned to the top after the page is refreshed.

Edit: Click the edit button to enter the dashboard editing page.

Copy: Click the copy button to create a copy of the dashboard. You will be directed to the new dashboard creation page, where you can click save to store the duplicated dashboard as a new one.

Sharing History: Click to open a popup window where you can view the historical valid sharing records of the current dashboard.

You can directly copy the link and password from the history sharing records.
Additionally, you can create new sharing records by applying the filter conditions from historical sharing settings and adding a new data time range. This allows you to conveniently share consistent analytical results for the same scenarios on a regular basis.

Delete: Only the creator of the dashboard and the main account can delete the dashboard.

Details: Click on the dashboard or its title to enter the dashboard. You can also right-click on the dashboard title to open the dashboard details in a new tab.

Batch Open: Select up to 5 dashboards to open them all at once, making it easier to switch between multiple dashboards while reviewing.

Dashboard Template: Click to view the dashboard templates recommended by the system. After selecting a template, you can make simple modifications or directly save it as your own dashboard.

4.3 Create a Dashboard

4.3.1 Basic Configuration for Creating a Dashboard

To create a dashboard, you need to set the dashboard name, add charts, and configure the common filters.

4.3.2 Add/Remove Cards

The card list is divided into "My charts," "Team," and "Xurta". You can select charts you created, charts created by other accounts, and system-recommended charts to add to the dashboard. Charts can be dragged within the dashboard to adjust their positions. Click [Remove] to move the chart back to the right-side list.

Delete: In the right-side list, hover over a chart to either add or delete it. You can only delete charts that you have created. Xturna charts or charts created by other users under the main account cannot be deleted.

Note: When a chart is referenced in a dashboard, if the creator deletes the charts, it will disappear from any dashboard where it has been referenced.

4.3.3 Configure Common Filters

Dashboards can be configured with common filters at the top. These filters will, by default, apply to all charts that support these filtering conditions. If you want to apply the filters to specific charts only, you can disable automatic association and manually configure which charts are affected by each filter.

4.4 Create/Edit Charts

4.4.1 Chart Configuration

Click "Create New Chart" and select the type of chart you want to create, including Data Table, Single Metric Chart, Time Trend Line Chart, Pie Chart, and Bar Chart.

The Create/Edit Chart page is divided into two sections:

The left panel displays a preview of the chart. During configuration, data will not be refreshed in real-time; it will update after the chart is saved.
The right panel consists of two columns for configuring the chart settings.The left column of the settings panel allows the following configurations:

Basic Information: Enter the chart name and add a description (optional).

Size Selection: Choose the chart size, which will preview the actual display style. For Single Metric Charts, sizes such as 1x2 and 1x4 allow multiple metrics to be displayed in a single row.

Chart Sub-Type: Some chart types, such as Tables and Time Trend Charts, have sub-types that provide different analytical perspectives.

Dimension Selection: Dimensions include basic dimensions and group by. Such as grouping campaigns by campaign type or grouping products by store.

Metrics: After selecting dimensions, the right column will display all available metrics for selection.Drag metrics into the metrics area in the left panel. If multiple metrics need to be added, click "+" to add all metrics at once.

Filter Conditions: Configure default filters for the chart display, which include:

Dimensions (e.g., type, status).
Metrics (e.g., greater than, less than, or between certain values, or selecting the top X data points for specific metrics).
Independent Time Filters: Choose a default time range such as This Week, Last Week, This Month, Last Month, the past X days, or a fixed time range.

Once filter conditions are set, a filter button will appear in the top-right corner of the chart. These filters can be temporarily adjusted in the dashboard details view.

Click Edit in the top-right corner of a chart to edit charts you have created. Once the edits are saved, the updated chart will be reflected in all dashboards where it is used.

You cannot directly edit charts created by others. If you click Edit on a chart created by another account, the system will create a new chart for your account, copying all configurations from the original chart. After making changes and saving, the modified chart will replace the original one in the current location, displaying the new, updated version.

4.5 Pre-made Charts and Templates

Xnurta provides general-purpose official charts that all customers can reference from the Xnurta chart list. Customers can copy, modify, and save these charts as their own through the copy-modify-save process.

In the dashboard templates, Xnurta provides general-purpose templates that you can directly save as your own dashboards by clicking on them. The charts referenced in these templates are all from the Xnurta Chart Library.

4.6 Share the Dashboard and Sharing history

After setting some filters for the current dashboard, you can share the current data with external users. External users can only view the data under the current filters, and none of the filters in the sharing dashboard cannot be changed.

Click the Share Button to configure the external dashboard name, sharing password, and data validity period (1 day, 3 days, 7 days, 15 days and 30 days). After completion, you can get the sharing link and directly use the link and password to open the dashboard and view the data.

The historical sharing records of the dashboard can be viewed in the Share History. You can click Copy to copy the link and password of the historical share again, or use the Reshare function. After selecting a new data time range, a new share will be created, which will retain the original share's dashboard filter settings, data validity period, and password.

5. FAQ

Can I modify a chart?
You can only modify charts you have created. If others are referencing your chart, any modifications will be synchronized and reflected in their dashboards.
If you click Edit on a chart created by someone else, the system will create a new chart with you as the creator. After editing and saving, it will be saved as your own new chart, and the original chart will not be modified.
What is the relationship between the dashboard's filters and the chart's filters?
The dashboard filters are manually configured public filters. When these filters are applied, the selected values are synchronized to charts that have the same filter criteria, affecting all charts that include those filters.
If you don't want a chart to be controlled by the public filters, you can disable automatic association in the public filters and manually configure the relationship between each public filter and the chart.
Changes to the filter conditions within a chart will not affect the public filters or other charts; they will only apply to the current chart.
How real-time is the data in the dashboard?
The dashboard data is pulled in real-time from the system reports, and the data refresh frequency is the same as that of the Advertising Management module.
Can I modify official charts?
After editing an official chart, you can click Save as My Chart to create a new chart with the edited configuration, which will replace the original chart in the dashboard. The original official chart will return to the Xnurta Chart Library, so, in effect, official charts cannot be edited.
What happens when I delete a chart from a dashboard?
When a chart is deleted from My Charts, it will be removed from all dashboards that reference it. The space where the chart was located will display a blank area.
There are too many charts, how can I find the one I need?
You can filter charts by creator, name, dimension, or chart type to find the desired chart. The most recently created charts will appear at the top by default.
How can I view the configuration of someone else’s chart?
After referencing another user's chart, you can click Edit in the top-right corner of the chart to view the internal configuration. Users cannot directly modify charts created by others, but they can click Save as My Chart after editing to create a version with their own modifications.
