Update to 11/26/2025
Xnurta now supports Criteo ad management, with customer experience available starting from 10/22/2025 for a period of 4 weeks. If you need to participate or have any questions, please contact your Customer Success Manager.
1.What can be done in Xnurta:
1.1.Multi-dimensional report analysis:
Advertising management supports unified management of multi-store advertising, analyzes advertising reports at different levels, and supports viewing overall data, trends, and reports for individual objects.
1. At the ad campaign level, trends are analyzed daily/weekly/monthly, and support searching for specified ad campaigns for viewing. If multiple stores are selected, they will be uniformly displayed in the list.

Slide right to view the metrics.

2. At the line item level, it also supports analyzing trends by day/week/month, searching for specified line items, and displaying reports for multiple stores.

3. Promote the product hierarchy, display product information, and present product display trends and reports.

4. Keyword hierarchy, divided into Automatic keyword and Manual keyword display reports.

5. Search term hierarchy, displays search term reports, and supports filtering for automatic or manual keyword placement.

6. Placement level, displays reports for each placement, and supports filtering to view specified placements.

1.2.Deep-dive analysis of reports:
1. Deep-dive report at the finest grain
Products, keywords, and placements, support deep dive to reports of each line item, and can also aggregate to objects, such as the overall performance of a specific keyword, simply turn off deep dive.
2. Aggregate report data

1.3.Report data comparison and analysis
1. Time comparison of the same object
Quick filter by month-on-month or selected comparison time period to analyze ROAS or Sales growth or decline.

2. Comparison of Different Objects
Sort and analyze metrics through range filtering, such as promoted products, retailers, advertising campaign status, etc.

1.4.Efficiently manage advertisements:
1.4.1.Batch operation:
Advertising management supports batch operations. After batch settings are confirmed and submitted, the checked objects will be uniformly applied.
Advertising campaigns support batch budget adjustment and report attribution settings. After the attribution settings are modified, attribution-related data will be updated on T+1 day.

Line items support batch adjustment of budget, bid optimization method, and line item on/off status. line items can only adjust those with a status of Active or Paused, and those not allowed to be adjusted will skip the update.

Promoted products support batch adjustment of the switch.

Placements support batch adjustment of bid multiplier. The selected placements will appear in the pop-up window. For placements that need to be changed, please enter a value; for those that do not need to be changed, no value needs to be entered. Click Confirm to update.

1.4.2.Set up automated rules to manage ads
Select a store, select the type of automation rule. See details below.

Bid dayparting:
Set the bid coefficient by time period, multiply the existing bid by the bid coefficient for different time periods, and adjust the bid value.
Each rule specifies which level of bid value to adjust, including Line item bid, Keyword bid, and Product bid. It also supports setting whether to adjust all objects or specific objects at that level. For example, adjusting all Keywords under a line item or specific Keywords.
Note that if the bid is not set for Keyword or Product, the adjustment of the bid value will be skipped.
For example, if the bid coefficient set for the period from 3:00 to 5:00 is 2, and no bid coefficient is set for other time periods, with the base bid being $1, then the bid value will be adjusted to $2 from 3:00 to 5:00, while remaining at $1 during other time periods.

Budget dayparting:
Set the daily budget allocation percentage or budget value by time period, and allocate the budget for each time period according to the allocation logic, so the daily budget will continuously accumulate throughout the day according to the set allocation logic.
Each rule specifies which level of budget to adjust, including Campaign daily budget and Line item daily budget. If there are multiple Line items under a Campaign, it supports specifying a Line item for adjustment.
Note that when the Daily budget is set to Auto, it does not support automated rule adjustment.
Select proportional allocation. For example, if the daily budget is set to $5, 40% is allocated from 0:00 to 10:00, and Xnurta will adjust the daily budget to $2; 30% is allocated from 11:00 to 17:00, and Xnurta will adjust the daily budget to $3.5; 30% is allocated from 18:00 to 10 23:59, and Xnurta will adjust the daily budget to $5.

Select to allocate by a fixed value. For example, if the daily budget is set to $10, $2 is allocated from 0:00 to 7:00, during which Xnurta will adjust the daily budget to $2; $3 is allocated from 8:00 to 17:00, during which Xnurta will adjust the daily budget to $5; $5 is allocated from 18:00 to 23:59, during which Xnurta will adjust the daily budget to $10.

Bid Adjustment:
Adjust the bid value based on historical performance. If the bid value is not set, for example, if the Keyword bid is not set, then the adjustment of the Keyword bid will be skipped.
Each rule also specifies which level of bid value to adjust, including Line item bid, Keyword bid, and Product bid. It also supports adjusting all objects at that level or specific objects.

2.How to authorize
This article will detail the operation process for the main account to authorize a Criteo account, helping users complete the authorization quickly for subsequent related businesses. Below is the authorization process flowchart:

2.1. Pre-Authorization Preparation
Ensure that the logged-in Criteo account has at least one of the following roles:
-
Admin
-
Business Manager
-
Technical Manager

2.2. Operation Steps
Step 1: Contact CSM/CS to obtain the authorization link
Contact your CSM (Customer Success Manager) or CS (Customer Service) to obtain the authorization link.
Step 2: Log in to the Criteo backend via Xnurta's authorization link
After receiving your authorization request, the CSM or CS will send you an exclusive authorization link (a jump link for logging in to the Criteo). Please copy the link directly, open it in a secure browser environment, and proceed with authorization.
If you have logged in to another seller account, please log out first and then repeat the above operations.
Step 3: Check the Criteo account that needs to be authorized to Xnurta
After logging in to Criteo, you will see the following interface, confirming that Xnurta will read/edit the advertising data under your account.

Please check the account that needs to be authorized to Xnurta and click "Approve". After clicking "Approve", you will be automatically redirected to the Xnurta login interface. After logging in to Xnurta, the Xnurta main account completes the authorization of the Criteo account.

After all the above steps are completed, the Criteo store authorization is successfully finished. At this point, you can view and manage the authorized Criteo accounts in Xnurta, and carry out subsequent businesses such as advertising and data synchronization.

Step 4:Assign permissions and stores to sub-account
After the main account user logs in to Xnurta, click the profile photo in the upper right corner, and then click Account Management.

Account management is divided into two parts:
Account information, this is the place to view and modify the basic information filled in when registering for the account. It includes username, mobile phone number, email address, and company name. Click the edit icon to modify the above information. The page also displays the account status. Please pay attention to the valid date of the account. After the account expires, the system will no longer provide data updates.
Sub-account management, where you can view all sub-account information under the current main account, and create, modify, or delete sub-accounts.

Manage sub-accountsIn the sub-account management list, all sub-accounts and related information in the main account are listed. In the operation bar, the main account can edit information or delete accounts for sub-accounts.Supports both single and batch operations.

3.Points to note:
-
We currently have frequency limits for API updates. Adjustments made in Xnurta will be synchronized to Criteo in real time, but adjustments made in the Criteo backend will take up to 6 hours to be synchronized to Xnurta. We recommend managing your ads in Xnurta.
-
When updating the API, it will completely overwrite the entire ad hierarchy, not just individual item. For example, modifying the daily budget value for an ad campaign will update the campaign start & end dates, attribution settings, etc., according to existing Xnurta settings. We recommend making all ad adjustments and enabling automation rules in Xnurta to prevent overwriting changes made on other platforms.
-
Criteo Retail Media APIs currently do not support some ad types. See the appendix for details.
4.FAQ:
Q: Does the authorization link have an expiration date?
A: The authorization link will not expire, but it is recommended to take prompt action upon receipt.
Q: After authorizing an account, how many days of past advertising data will be synchronized for the account? Approximately how many days will it take to complete the data synchronization?
A: Synchronize data from the past 100 days starting from the synchronization authorization date. The completion time of data synchronization depends on the data volume of the account. Generally speaking, accounts with a large data volume take longer to complete synchronization than those with a small data volume.
Q: What is Attributed sales attributed to?
A: Attributed sales are determined by your campaign attribution settings. If the attribution settings (including lookback window and product match) for different campaigns vary, then the attribution logic will also differ.
Q: If I change the Campaign attribution setting, how long will it take to update the attribution data?
A: The update cycle is T+1, which means you can see the attribution data for the new campaign attribution setting the next day. Note that only the data from the most recent 100 days will be updated at most.
Q: If an ad is adjusted in the Criteo backend, how long will it take for Xnurta to update?
A: Currently, since the API frequency is updated once every 6 hours, any adjustment made in Xnurta will be immediately updated to Criteo.
Q: Why can't some ads be edited?
Due to Criteo rules, only line items with a status of Active or Paused are allowed to be edited.
