Instacart Ads management overview

1. Module structure

The Ads Management module helps you view and manage your Instacart advertising data across four levels:

• Campaigns: View and manage campaign-level settings, budget, and performance.
• Ad groups: View and manage ad groups, default bids, products, and keywords.
• Products: View promoted products and their performance.
• Keywords: View keyword-level performance and bid information.

You can also open a Campaign Details page to review the objects under a specific campaign, including its ad groups, products, and keywords.

The current version fully supports SP for creation, editing, and data integration. SD and SV appear in the Campaigns tab for display only and do not support full management actions.

2. Filters

The module supports filters to help you narrow down the data shown in each tab.

Global filter behavior

There are two main types of filters:

• Enum filters, such as Campaign type, Status, Objective, and Attribution model
• Metric filters, such as Spend, Impressions, and Clicks (Coming soon...)

Search

Search behavior depends on the tab you are in:

• Campaigns: search by Campaign name
• Ad groups: search by Ad group name
• Products: search by Product name or UPC
• Keywords: search by Keyword

3. Charts

Most list pages include a chart area that helps you review performance trends over time. 

Time granularity

Charts support:

• Day
• Week
• Month

Metric cards

At the top of the chart, the system shows metric cards. You can select up to 3 metrics to display in the chart.

Chart visibility

Use the Charts toggle to show or hide the chart area.

4. Metric sorting

List tables support sorting by metrics so you can quickly identify top or underperforming objects. Sorting can be used together with filters to narrow your analysis.

5. Export, full screen, and columns

The module includes several tools to help you review or download data more efficiently.

Export

You can export the current query result and all visible columns from list pages. The export limit is 10,000 rows. If the result exceeds the limit, the system shows a maximum export limit message.

Expand

You can use Expand to open the list in full-screen mode for easier analysis.

Column settings

You can customize visible columns in list pages. Fixed columns cannot be removed.
